A: Yes! If your Frigidaire Gallery or Professional series refrigerator currently uses the PurePour PWF-1 (FPPWFU01) filter, our replacement is 100% compatible.
A: This is completely normal for new carbon block filters. The black specks are harmless carbon fines. Please flush approximately 2 gallons of water (about 3-4 minutes) through the dispenser to clear the system before drinking.
A: For optimal performance and safe drinking water, we recommend replacing the filter every 6 months or after 200 gallons of use, whichever comes first.
